Firstly, please note I can no longer give free technical advice by phone. The call rate grew too high and I need to earn a living! Now I restrict my (unofficial) technical advice service to email. If you want to discuss a Gledhill thermal store problem (as opposed to employ me to fix it) then please email me and I'll do my best to advise you. Secondly, if you're planning to call me to ask if I cover your particular part of the UK, the answer is a conditional 'yes'. I'm happy to travel anywhere within driving distance of Reading in Berkshire. My 'yes' is conditional because I charge for my time spent travelling as well as time spent carrying out your repair. This means the cost can become rather high compared to getting a local firm in, but it's up to you Some people have had poor service from their local engineers and would prefer to pay for my travelling time and get a better standard of repair. If that's the case with you then I'm happy to visit you wherever you are. Almost...

.... I still generally still limit the distance to places I can drive to and back from in a single day. If you are further afield than this I may still be able to visit, so please feel free to ask. If you would prefer to find a more local engineer then the best advice I can give you is to ring Gledhill themselves. They will give you the name of the nearest Gledhill-approved service engineer to you. Their number is 01253 474401.
